The Ontario Summer Salsa Tour culminated with a bang this weekend with the 5th annual Salsa on st. Clair Street Festival. 200 000 Latin Lovers hit the streets of Toronto for a sizzling Salsa Party for the entire family.

The mood was decidedly festive, and the crowd well behaved. The gorgeous aroma of grilling meat and the sexy sound of salsa and meringue rhythms filled the air. Hips moved feverishly at several music stages as the dancers were transported by the fabulous sounds blaring from various bands and DJs.

THE PLACE TO BE was the patio at Da Gianni & Maria Trattoria, which offered a huge sidewalk patio where one could see and be seen. Maria and her staff good-naturedly kept pace with the large clientele who were definitely in the mood for cervezas and more!!

A good time was had by all, and we look forward to next year's repeat performance!
